The 1897 Half Ponde was the last half Pond minted. It is rare in UNC grade and below is an exceptional AU55.
1897 Half Pond Forgeries.
There does not seem to be a problem with forgeries.
Some coins are ex-mount coins. Look for marks in the middle of the Half Pond as many Half Pond were made into cufflinks. It is best to buy a certified coin.
