The 1896 Half Ponde was the second higest minted Half Pond. It is is rare in UNC grade.
1896 half Pond Forgeries
There does not seem to be a problem with forgeries.
Some coins are ex-mount coins. Look for marks in the middle of the Half Pond as many Half Pond were made into cufflinks. It is best to buy a certified coin.
