4th March 2014 – Henri's Coins
1892 Double Shaft Kruger Pond: XF condition. Estimate: ~$900. Reverse is strong; obverse is worn. Check rims for signs of mounting.

1900 Kruger Pond: AU condition, worth around $1100. Confirmed authentic.

1898 Kruger Pond: Badly worn. Only worth melt value.

1900 Kaal Pond: Appears inauthentic. No scraper marks and flat rim.

1895 Half Pond: XF to AU condition. Common date. Value: ~$350.

1892 Threepence: Obverse badly damaged. Estimated value: $10.

1894 Sixpence: XF condition. Estimated value: ~$100.

16th February 2014 – Tony
1892 Half Pond: This is a Double Shaft. Identified by seeing two wagon shafts and the shaft not centered under the wagon. Value: gold melt (gold price × 0.1177).

9th February 2014 – John
1894 Half Pond: XF condition but may have been mounted (teeth/rim marks). Value: $350, or $150 if ex-jewelry.

1898 Kruger Pond: High grade (likely MS). Common date, estimated value ~$1500.

2nd February 2014 – Rael
1898 Kruger Pond: Jewelry piece. Only worth melt value (~$300).
